Excellent paintings of flowers from Mary Shaw
Well known artist Mary Shaw has created some superb new original paintings in her unique and very recognisable style.
Mary Shaw was born in Bristol, where she still resides and has her studio today. An entirely self- taught artist, she demonstrated an aptitude for painting from childhood, and completed her first commission at the age of just thirteen. As an adult, she spent four years living in Zimbabwe and Cape Town, where she began to establish herself as a professional artist.
On returning to the UK, Mary rediscovered her affection for the English countryside, having been struck by the vastly differing landscapes of her two homes. She was particularly interested in the rare and endangered species found amongst England’s hedgerows, and began to depict them in her paintings.
“Nature is always in my paintings. I love delicate flowers and grasses and am fascinated with movement – the sight of flowers an grasses blowing in the wind is truly beautiful.”
Songs For Summer is the new limited edition collection from the very talented Sam Wolfe

This new collection features two sizes of limited editions with a deluxe version of just 10 and a standard edition of 25 of each image.
About Sam Wolfe
“I would best describe myself as a creative designer with a passion for music and the arts. Growing up in the Garden of England (Kent), I was always happiest spending time at my grandparent’s beautiful, thatched cottage, where my sister and I would watch and join in with my grandad, painting for fun. As talented as my Grandad was as an oil painter, my finger painting was always the prize winner!
My grandmother was the piano player in the family and taught me all I ever need to know about music from the age of 4. Playing piano is a passion and something that’s always stayed with me as a link to my past and my upbringing and although I’ve attempted to write songs & music before, it’s a lot harder than it sounds.
Further education escaped me somewhat, however an interest in graphic design led me to my first job that really opened my eyes to the mixed media processes that are at our fingertips to create art that’s only truly limited by your own imagination. My interests led me to experiment with so many different styles and mediums over many months and I’ve certainly found creating art to be the best and most productive distraction from day-to-day existence whenever there’s time.
My eagerness to create artworks that are relevant to me personally, has always been the most important part of anything I can conceive and design. Chance would have it that my most recent artworks that I was able to spend time on through the first Covid Lockdown also really sparked interest from my friends and family and is what I’ve really enjoyed producing the most to date. My attempts at combining my love of both art and music really lit the fire underneath my passion for wanting to evolve and become an artist in the more traditional sense of the word.”
Stunning new original paintings from Roz Bell
Morning Sun is a stunning dune picture from Simon Kenevan
Now in the gallery, super large stunning limited editions from Simon Kenevan.
Since an early age, growing up on the coast of southern England, Simon has long realised a profound love of the sea. From the barefoot boy running through the foam, to the vibrant young man working on fishing boats, the need to be near, within sight, earshot, smell, has always been apparent.
The time of his enlightenment was during the first year of working a small fishing boat alone. Out at first light, pulling the boat across the sand to the shore, rowing through the breaking waves, out into deeper water against winds and tide. Feeling the first touch of the sun’s warmth cutting through the pre-dawn chill. Every kind of weather, every kind of light, all conspiring to create a universe of wordless poetry inside.
Now, with over 25 years of experience, Simon Kenevan has found his vocabulary, via pigment and paper, brush and canvas. Working with pastels, and oils, precious moments are relived through the creative process. Each subsequent painting has its own resonance, unique to each and every viewer. His passion lies between the waters, the tides, the sky, the weather; the narrow band where all elements come together, each one a factor in the behaviour of another. Forever changing, no two moments ever the same, Simon feels the scale and the timelessness to his core, evoking a welcome level of humility, and a powerful sense of place. In Simon’s words, “I was born to be near the ocean.“

New originals from John Russell in an elegant contemporary style
John Russell’s original paintings are instantly recognisable due to the clear lines of his subject matter and the simple format of the overall scene.
John is a Scottish artist living on a farm in northern England. He depicts British landscapes combining a mix of the traditional with a contemporary finish. Brooding skies frame a dramatically lit foreground and the finish is enhanced by a resin coating. From Yorkshire Farms to Highland crofts, Lakeland cottages to Cornish mines, rugged barren scenes are his favourite subject matter.
