Elephant Parade® is a social enterprise and runs the world’s largest art exhibition of decorated elephant statues. Created by artists and celebrities, each Elephant Parade statue is a unique piece of art. The life-size, baby elephant statues are exhibited in international cities and raise awareness for the need of elephant conservation.

Limited edition, handcrafted replicas and a select range of products are created from the exhibition elephants. 20% of Elephant Parade net profits are donated to elephant welfare and conservation projects.

Whilst the backgrounds are rendered in sepia tones, giving a sensitivity to each painting, Ted and his friends are lovingly painted in complimentary rich earth colours that give the paintings a unique and instantly recognisable look.

Although Ted’s life has many humorous moments, it is also deeply emotive and the paintings often feature a message of hope as part of their design. The world of Ted offers something we don’t often get in real life – a chance to travel to an age of innocence. An idyllic world that many of us wish we could go back to, a time of simplicity and love.

He frequently takes English landscapes and coasts as his subjects, and is particularly inspired by the sea with its diverse movements, rhythms and space.

Through The Seasons – On the A30, close to the border between Devon and Cornwall, is a copse of beech trees with almost iconic status.   For locals and holiday makers alike, they are a heart-warming image that their journey is nearly over. The Cookworthy Knapp trees were planted around 1900 and over the years have acquired many different terms of endearment with the “Nearly There Trees” being Susi’s favourite.
