One of the UK’s best selling artists, Allan Morgan has a unique recognisable style and a much appreciated range of paintings. Allan is inspired by his love of light, colour and atmosphere in landscape. He has recently extended his style to encompass a more “colourist” approach. Influences in Allan’s paintings are varied and include the Pre-Raphaelites, fauvists and impressionists. Having formerly spent many years living near the coast, he regularly returns to this subject matter.
Sitting by my pond on one glorious sunny California afternoon, I noticed a large blue dragonfly resting, motionless, on a beautiful purple flowering water lily. Soon, another dragonfly appeared, creating great excitement. Both started chasing the other, at very high speeds. Their dance continued, with fluid, swooping manoeuvres…so very magical to watch. I reached for my pad and pencil and was immediately inspired to create… Symphony. I hope you enjoy it !

JJ Adams is a very popular artist with his unique take on popular brands, landmarks and icons. His latest collection does not disappoint and provides a wide variety of subject matter with something for everyone.
He uses a range of mixed media in his work from spray paint to hand painting acrylics, screen printing and digital matte painting as well as photography.
Leigh Lambert is an accomplished artist across a range of media, most commonly working in oils on board. His use of colour is minimal, optimistically applying splashes only to the figures that play amidst the otherwise monochromatic landscapes, capturing the joy and vitality of his youth.
It was on leaving Newcastle that he began to appreciate the nature of his upbringing; what he had once seen as a concrete jungle now seeming strangely beautiful. Taking inspiration from his childhood, Lamberts pieces have a strong sense of nostalgia, evoking fond memories of a youth that many can relate to.
Dale Bowen has created some evocative and dynamic scenes of sailing boats in striking colours.
As Dale says, When painting I like to use a variety of mediums as I feel the need to experiment and master as many methods as possible. I sometimes work from crude sketches as well as photographs as a varied approach allows for more creativity. My creative work is inspired from a number of different sources, observation or even conversation and always surprises me in the ever unusual ways it catches me.

More About Alison
I gained my B.A Honours in Ceramics at Camberwell College of Art in London. Since graduating in 1996 I have set up a purpose built ceramic studio at home in Abingdon, South Oxfordshire. My work incorporates both sculptural and functional forms. This includes figurative work, garden pots, vases and recent Venetian and Cornwall inspired three dimensional pieces. All my work derives from my love of drawing. No two pieces are identical as all my work is hand built. I combine making with teaching children and adults of all ages and abilities, in a wide variety of places.
