Sitting by my pond on one glorious sunny California afternoon, I noticed a large blue dragonfly resting, motionless, on a beautiful purple flowering water lily. Soon, another dragonfly appeared, creating great excitement. Both started chasing the other, at very high speeds. Their dance continued, with fluid, swooping manoeuvres…so very magical to watch. I reached for my pad and pencil and was immediately inspired to create… Symphony. I hope you enjoy it ! Tim Cotterill
