New 3D sculpture on canvas

Just announced is the general release of the highly anticipated “It’s Not Cheap” – a 3D Sculpture artwork by JJ Adams.

The “London Punk” Character has been around for some time now, making various subtle appearances in many of JJ’s works for over a decade now.  As the shadow figure found in the majority of the celebrated “Rule Britannia, collections with the latest being the recent “Approaching Storm” title from last Autumn’s Collection.

The Punks themselves have been designed and fabricated all by JJ himself before they are all hand-painted individually. The characters are then securely mounted to a London / Rule Britannia style canvas print that has been created especially for this new artwork. The entire piece is then fitted into a purpose made shadow box frame with matt black interior inserts and finished in a wide, contemporary black moulding profile.

As a subtle and cool addition to the piece, all artworks have had the interior of the glass spray painted in bright pink graffiti aerosol where the Punk is holding out his spray can.
