Born in England and living in Germany, Saudi Arabia, Kenya and New Zealand during her early childhood, Natalie finally settled in Sydney, Australia. She has good memories of growing up in these very different environments – including her memories of the family’s pet monkey “Chippy” while in Kenya, Africa. My work incorporates both sculptural and functional forms. This includes figurative work, garden pots, vases and recent Venetian and Cornwall inspired three dimensional pieces.
All my work derives from my love of drawing. No two pieces are identical as all my work is hand built.
I combine making with teaching children and adults of all ages and abilities, in a wide variety of places. This includes Schools, Day/Family Centres, Sunningwell Art School and as Artist in Residence throughout the county. I am a full member of the Oxfordshire Craft Guild, West Ox Arts and an Associate of the Craft Potters Association.
